Brianne Jenner netted two goals to propel the Ottawa Charge to a 5-2 victory over the Minnesota Frost in a home game on Saturday. This win marked the Charge’s second regulation victory, extending their winning streak to four games. In addition to Jenner’s performance, Emily Clark, Sarah Wozniewicz, and Kateřina Mrázová also found the back of the net for Ottawa, with Gwyneth Philips making 24 saves. Jenner sealed the win with an empty-net goal late in the game.

For the Frost, Kelly Pannek and Britta Curl-Salemme scored, while Maddie Rooney made 17 saves in the losing effort. Ottawa took an early lead in the first period with a goal by Jenner, but the Frost quickly responded with a power-play goal in the second period. Ottawa then dominated the second period, scoring three goals in just over six minutes.

Key moments included Clark scoring her first point of the season with a remarkable goal and Philips making crucial saves in the third period to preserve the Charge’s lead. Ottawa showcased confidence and aggression in the offensive zone, while Minnesota struggled to contain their speed and defend against their attacks.
