“Dreame Launches Direct-to-Consumer Website in India”

Technology"Dreame Launches Direct-to-Consumer Website in India"

Dreame Technology made its debut in the Indian market back in 2023 and has since established a strong presence in the robot vacuum and grooming sectors. Initially, the brand primarily distributed its products through platforms like Amazon and Croma. Now, in a bid to expand further in India, Dreame has introduced its own direct-to-consumer (D2C) website to provide customers with a personalized shopping experience.

The new India-specific website, located at in.dreametech.com, is now operational. While Dreame will continue to collaborate with Amazon and retail partners such as Croma, the new platform aims to streamline the entire customer journey, from product exploration and purchase to post-sales assistance.

Discussing the new website with India Today Tech, Manu Sharma, Managing Director of Dreame India, emphasized that the website is designed to enhance the overall customer journey. Sharma highlighted that the website offers robust product discovery, facilitates easy model and feature comparisons, and provides comprehensive support channels including WhatsApp, email, and call centers. Moreover, the platform enables the extension of after-sales services by directly offering extended warranties to customers.

Sharma further emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing the accessory buying experience. He acknowledged that while accessories may seem trivial, they play a crucial role in customer satisfaction. Dreame aims to streamline accessory access and purchasing processes through its website. By the end of the year, the company plans to ensure the availability of all accessories directly on its website, eliminating concerns about third-party accessory pricing discrepancies.

The launch of the dedicated website aligns with Dreame’s strategic goals for the Indian market, which Sharma identified as a key focus area for the brand. Sharma highlighted that consumer preferences in India are shifting towards all-in-one products rather than standalone offerings. As a response to this trend, Dreame intends to introduce more all-in-one products in the mid to premium price segments in the future.

While emphasizing its online presence, Dreame emphasized that offline retail remains a significant aspect of its strategy. The company is expanding its physical footprint and will soon introduce pre-sales home demonstrations in key cities. Currently operating in over 20 cities with 50+ stores, Dreame plans to further expand its offline presence.

In conjunction with the website launch, Dreame is offering a limited-time promotion, providing a 50% discount on a one-year extended warranty for robotic vacuums purchased from April 1 to April 10 through its website. The company has also established a dedicated after-sales helpline and continues to offer services such as pick-up and drop, as well as virtual and on-site installation.

With a focus on enhancing customer experience, improving services, and fostering direct engagement, Dreame aims to solidify its position in the Indian market as a priority.
