Iran has issued a new threat against the Stargate AI data center in Abu Dhabi, warning of its potential destruction. The warning comes amid escalating tensions with the United States in the region. Iranian Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari emphasized their capability to uncover hidden locations, including the proposed 5-gigawatt AI campus, which involves major tech companies like Nvidia, OpenAI, and Oracle.
The confrontation intensified after US President Donald Trump’s remarks about targeting Iran’s power plants. Lt. Colonel Zolfaghari stated that retaliation would involve annihilation of power plants, energy infrastructure, and ICT of US-affiliated companies in the region. The video message also showcased satellite images of the Stargate UAE site and key figures linked to the project.
In response, Trump threatened to destroy Iran’s bridges and power plants, emphasizing swift action by the New Regime leadership. The Iranian military listed potential targets, including tech giants like Apple, Google, Meta, and Nvidia, following previous attacks on Amazon and Oracle facilities.
