In Hanumakonda district of Telangana, a tragic incident unfolded as a woman and her two young daughters were discovered lifeless in a swimming pool owned by their family, causing sorrow and suspicion among locals and relatives. The victims were identified as Farhat (26), pregnant with her third child, along with her daughters Umera (8) and Ayesha (6). The family operated a swimming pool facility near the Warangal–Khammam national highway, their main source of livelihood.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the family had visited the pool as part of their usual routine on Wednesday night, where the woman and her children tragically drowned. Despite efforts from family members and neighbors to rescue them, all three were pronounced dead. Subsequently, the bodies were taken to a nearby hospital for post-mortem examination, and the police initiated inquiries upon arrival at the scene.
Initially attributed to accidental drowning by Farhat’s husband, Mohammad Azharuddin, suspicions arose among relatives regarding underlying domestic conflicts. Allegations surfaced suggesting that ongoing disputes within the family, particularly related to their children, may have played a role.
