PoliticsConservative Party Raises Record $48M in Donations

The Conservative Party of Canada announced a significant achievement in fundraising for the year 2025, amassing nearly $48 million from over 327,000 donations. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre expressed gratitude for the widespread support, emphasizing the party’s message of optimism for a more secure and affordable Canada.

Elections Canada data revealed that the party collected $28.1 million in the initial three months, followed by $9 million in the second quarter and $4.2 million in the third quarter. The Conservative Party is currently finalizing its fourth-quarter fundraising report, indicating a total of more than $6.4 million raised during the last quarter of 2025.

Poilievre highlighted the importance of these donations in bolstering the party’s momentum and readiness to challenge the ruling Carney Liberals in the upcoming elections. Conversely, the Liberal Party also celebrated a fundraising milestone, surpassing its previous record with over $29 million raised in 2025, nearly doubling its 2024 fundraising total.

Elections Canada data confirmed that the Liberals secured $13.2 million in the initial three months of 2025, $7.6 million in the second quarter, and $2.95 million in the third quarter. Azam Ishmael, the national director of the Liberal Party, described the year as historic and significant for their party.

Meanwhile, the New Democratic Party garnered $4.6 million in donations during the first nine months of 2025. However, final fundraising figures for the last quarter of 2025 have yet to be released by Elections Canada.
