World"Hackers Disrupt Iranian TV Broadcasts Amid Mass Protests"

Hackers disrupted Iranian state television satellite broadcasts by showing support for the country’s exiled crown prince and urging security forces not to target civilians, online videos revealed early Monday. This interference occurred amidst a government crackdown on nationwide protests, with activists reporting a death toll of at least 4,029 individuals. The situation remains tense between the United States and Iran, with President Trump setting red lines for Tehran regarding the treatment of protesters and potential mass executions.

Footage promoting the exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi was aired on multiple state broadcaster channels, featuring calls for security forces to stand with the people. The broadcast included images of individuals in what appeared to be Iranian police uniforms declaring allegiance to the public. The semi-official Fars news agency acknowledged that the satellite signals were briefly disrupted in some areas of Iran by an unknown source.

Meanwhile, tensions escalated as the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, along with other American military vessels, was tracked moving through the Strait of Malacca, possibly heading towards the Middle East. This movement comes amid concerns over potential military actions in response to the situation in Iran. The World Economic Forum and the Munich Security Conference also took actions against Iranian officials due to the crackdown on protests.

The death toll from the government’s crackdown has risen significantly, with over 4,000 reported fatalities, including protesters, security forces, children, and others. Iranian authorities have not provided an official death toll, but Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei blamed the United States for the violence. Additionally, reports indicate thousands of arrests have been made, raising fears of harsh punishments, including potential executions.
