Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava met with Nepal’s newly-appointed Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal to discuss various aspects of their countries’ bilateral relations. Khanal took office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on March 27.
During the meeting, Srivastava conveyed greetings from External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Khanal’s appointment, as stated by the Foreign Ministry. Discussions included matters concerning Nepal-India relations and cooperation.
Jaishankar had previously conveyed his well-wishes to Khanal on the day he assumed office. He expressed eagerness to collaborate closely with his Nepalese counterpart to enhance the enduring partnership between India and Nepal.
