The 29-year-old was discovered deceased in his Nashville residence during a welfare check conducted by the Metro Nashville Police Department. While the cause of death remains undetermined, authorities have ruled out foul play, with plans for an autopsy underway.
Known as Brytavious Chambers at birth, Keith collaborated with renowned music icons such as Drake, Beyoncé, Lil Nas X, and Eminem. At just 23, he received his first Grammy nod in 2019 for his contribution to Travis Scott’s track “Sicko Mode” and was later nominated again in 2024 for his work on Drake and 21 Savage’s “Rich Flex.” His accomplishments led to a spot on Forbes’ prestigious “30 under 30 music” list last year.
Acknowledging Keith’s impact, tributes have been shared by fellow music figures like Hitkidd, a music producer from Memphis, and DJ Scheme based in Florida. BlocBoy JB, a Memphis rapper and one of Keith’s early collaborators, expressed his shock and sorrow on Instagram, lamenting, “We talked every day, and you didn’t tell me you were leaving.”
