Technology"Vivo X Fold 6 Leak Reveals Impressive Specs"

Foldable smartphones are gradually gaining popularity in the smartphone industry. The spotlight is on Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone, Samsung’s recent restock of the Galaxy Z TriFold in the US, and Vivo’s development of the Vivo X Fold 6 following the launch of its X300 Ultra and X300s models. A leak on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform, has unveiled key specifications of the Vivo X Fold 6.

According to Digital Chat Station, a reputable tipster, the Vivo X Fold 6 is rumored to boast a 200-megapixel primary camera, expected to use a similar sensor to the one found in the Vivo X300 series. The foldable device is anticipated to house a 6,760mAh battery, with a standard capacity nearing 7,000mAh, featuring a dual-battery configuration of 3,915mAh and 2,845mAh. This leak suggests that the Vivo X Fold 6 could offer one of the most substantial batteries in the foldable smartphone market.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Vivo X Fold 6 is speculated to include a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with a 15cm focusing support. Further details regarding other sensors remain undisclosed at this time. As a flagship foldable model, the Vivo X Fold 6 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Typically, Vivo’s flagship devices debut in China before entering global markets. The Vivo X Fold 5 was launched in China in June 2025 and later made its way to India in July.

The Vivo X Fold 5 is already a well-received foldable phone, and consumers are eager to see the enhancements its successor will bring. The X Fold 5 features an expansive 8.03-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. It also includes a 6.53-inch cover display with similar refresh rates and brightness levels.

Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, the X Fold 5 offers a triple rear camera setup with three 50MP sensors for wide, periscope telephoto (3x optical zoom), and ultrawide shots, along with dual 20MP front cameras. The device houses a 6,000mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 40W wireless charging, including reverse charging capabilities. Notable features also include IP58/IP59+ dust and water resistance and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
