“Man arrested for temple break-in and theft”

A man was arrested by the police after breaking into the Kuzhuvalvattam Sree Bhagathy temple in Kudappanamoodu and stealing Rs 8,500. The man, identified as Senthil from Tamil Nadu, was found sleeping inside the temple office when temple committee members discovered the break-in at around 5:30 am. Upon investigation, it was revealed that he had forcibly entered the office the previous night and made off with the cash. The temple staff promptly notified the authorities, leading to his apprehension by the Vellarada police. Senthil, who was reportedly fatigued after the theft, was taken into custody and subsequently presented before a court, where he was remanded to judicial custody. Police mentioned that the accused had a history of involvement in multiple theft cases.
