On the other side, Emerance Maschmeyer put up a solid performance with 25 saves for Vancouver.
In another exciting matchup, the Ottawa Charge emerged victorious in a shootout, defeating the Boston Fleet 2-1. Katerina Mrazova’s crucial shootout goal sealed the win for Ottawa. Fanuza Kadirova and Brianne Jenner also found the back of the net in the shootout for Ottawa, while Hannah Brandt and Jamie Lee Rattray replied for Boston.
