A recall has been issued by Health Canada for several Zwilling electric kettles due to potential burn hazards. The affected products are the Zwilling Efinigy Kettle and Efinigy Kettle Pro models with a 1.5 L capacity. Approximately 43,963 of these kettles were sold in Canada from February 2020 to February 2026.
The reason for the recall is that the handle of the kettle may become loose or detach completely while in use, which could lead to hot water spilling out and posing a scalding risk to users and nearby individuals, including children.
Health Canada’s website reports that there have been 21 incidents and one potential injury related to these kettles in Canada as of May 13, 2026. Consumers are advised to immediately cease using the affected kettles and can request a refund by visiting the dedicated website provided by Zwilling.
For additional information, consumers can reach out to Zwilling directly. Health Canada also encourages individuals who have encountered safety issues with the product to report these incidents through their official channels.
