OnePlus has recently unveiled the Nord 6 smartphone featuring an impressive 9,000mAh battery, hinting at a continuous stream of new releases. A leak has surfaced indicating the imminent launch of the OnePlus 15s, anticipated to debut by the end of Q2 or early Q3, potentially hitting the market in May or June.
In addition to the OnePlus 15s, reports suggest that OnePlus is preparing to introduce two more smartphones in May, namely the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite. Although specific details remain scarce, tipster Debayan Roy suggests that the OnePlus 15s will closely resemble the recently launched OnePlus 15T in China. Following a similar pattern, the OnePlus 15s is expected to succeed the OnePlus 13s, which was essentially a rebranded version of the OnePlus 13T from China in April 2025.
The upcoming OnePlus 15s is projected to feature a 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits, based on the tipster’s insights. Running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with an Adreno 840 GPU, the device is anticipated to house a substantial 7,500mAh battery, a significant upgrade from its predecessor’s 5,850mAh capacity if the leak holds true. Expected to support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, the OnePlus 15s is likely to mirror the capabilities of the OnePlus 15T in this aspect.
Camera-wise, the smartphone may boast a 50-megapixel dual camera setup with a 3.5x periscope lens, alongside IP69K-rated protection for water and dust resistance. It is also speculated to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and compatibility with magnetic cooling accessories.
While details on the India pricing for the OnePlus 15s are currently unavailable, the OnePlus 13T was priced at CNY 3,399 in China (approximately Rs 40,000) and arrived in India as the OnePlus 13s starting at Rs 54,999. With the recent launch of the OnePlus 15T in China priced at CNY 4,299 (about Rs 58,000), it is expected that the OnePlus 15s might see a price increase in the Indian market, potentially nearing the Rs 60,000 mark. However, OnePlus is likely to aim to keep the price below Rs 60,000, unless external factors like the memory chip shortage prompt a higher pricing strategy.
