Samsung Galaxy S27 Lineup to Introduce Pro Model

TechnologySamsung Galaxy S27 Lineup to Introduce Pro Model

Samsung has revealed details about its upcoming Galaxy S27 lineup following the recent launch of the Galaxy S26 series. Reports indicate that the Galaxy S27 series may consist of four models, including a new Pro variant. This move is seen as a response to Apple’s four-model strategy, which includes standard variants like the base and Air, along with premium Pro and Pro Max models.

The rumored addition of the S27 Pro is expected to bring Ultra-like features, although it will not support the S Pen. This change aims to provide consumers with more options. Samsung, known for its three-tier flagship strategy involving Standard, Plus, and Ultra models, is now speculated to transition to a four-tier lineup with the introduction of the Pro variant to the Galaxy S27 series. If these rumors hold true, the lineup could include Galaxy S27, S27+, S27 Pro, and S27 Ultra models.

Industry insider Ice Universe hinted at the inclusion of a ‘privacy display’ feature in two models of the upcoming Galaxy S27 series, building on the strong reception of this feature in the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung had previously experimented with new variants like the Galaxy S25 Edge, which aimed to offer a slimmer design and potentially replace the Plus variant. However, the Edge model did not continue in the latest flagship lineup, likely due to market feedback. Contrary to this, the Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to complement the existing lineup rather than replace any models, introducing distinct features that set it apart from the standard and Plus models.
