Set decorator Mary Kate Golding, aged 34, known for her work on popular TV series such as “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Goosebumps,” was discovered lifeless at her residence in Queens, New York, on Tuesday. Authorities were alerted to the scene following a 911 call after midnight and found Golding fatally wounded with a stab to her back. She was declared deceased by a spokesperson from the New York Police Department who responded to the incident.

In a separate incident, law enforcement received a report of an unconscious man near Astoria Park in Queens around 6:39 a.m. ET. The man, estimated to be between 30 and 35 years old, was pronounced dead at the location. Sources suggest the deceased man was identified as Joseph Azzaretto, Golding’s husband, and the deaths are being probed as a possible murder-suicide, as indicated by reports, including one from People citing an unnamed police source.

The investigation into the tragic events is ongoing, with no additional information currently available. Golding’s professional portfolio included set decoration work on the initial six episodes of the first season of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” on Prime Video. Her past contributions extended to projects like “The Big Sick,” “Gotham,” “The Undoing,” “The Flight Attendant,” “Hawkeye,” and more recent endeavors like “Goosebumps.” She was also slated to participate in the upcoming production of “Deep Cuts.”

For immediate assistance in emergency situations or concerns about safety, individuals are urged to call 911. Those affected by family or intimate partner violence can seek support through crisis hotlines and local services.
