Last February, Monty, a giant schnauzer, clinched the prestigious best in show title, which will be awarded at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday to conclude the multi-day event. Meanwhile, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in Manhattan, dogs are showcasing their skills in masters agility, flyball, and other competitions.
One of the highlights was the masters agility competition on Saturday, featuring Amber McCune and her border collie, Prove-It, in action. The event drew a crowd of spectators, cheering on the competing dogs as they showcased their agility and skills.
In addition to the agility competition, various other races were held, including breed judging for bulldogs and a Bergamasco sheepdog in action. The flyball competition on Saturday also attracted attention, with dogs racing against each other in a display of speed and agility.
Behind the scenes, backstage beauties like Pie, a Shih Tzu from Monclova, Ohio, and Dylan, a standard poodle, were getting groomed and pampered before their appearances. Attendees and dogs could be seen in the grooming area, where meticulous care was being given to ensure the dogs looked their best for the show.
