Technology"Vivo Teases T5 Pro Launch in India with 9,020mAh Battery"

Vivo is preparing to introduce the Vivo T5 Pro in the Indian market, with the launch date yet to be confirmed. The company has teased the device through a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, showcasing essential specifications and design elements. Serving as the successor to the Vivo T4 Pro released in August last year, the smartphone will be available in two color variants and will be sold through Flipkart.

In terms of design, the Vivo T5 Pro sports a dual-camera setup aligned vertically within a rectangular module featuring rounded edges. The cameras come with an LED flash and an additional circular component. The power button and volume controls are situated on the left side, while the right side remains uncluttered. At the bottom, the device includes a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a SIM tray.

According to the microsite details, the Vivo T5 Pro will house a substantial 9,020mAh battery, a notable upgrade from the 6,500mAh battery of its predecessor, the Vivo T4 Pro. It is anticipated to support 90W fast charging, maintaining the same charging speed despite the larger battery capacity.

The revealed battery information corresponds with a previous leak by tipster Yogesh Brar. Furthermore, the smartphone is expected to boast a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, enhancing upon the Vivo T4 Pro’s full-HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G is likely to operate on Android 16-based OriginOS 6. It may feature an IP68+ and IP69+ rating for dust and water resistance.

Positioned in the mid-range market segment, the base model of the Vivo T5 Pro is anticipated to offer 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, with an expected price of around Rs 29,999. For comparison, the Vivo T4 Pro had a 6.77-inch display, ran on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, and featured a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It was supported by a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging capability.
