A duo of Canadian athletes achieved success at the women’s freestyle skiing slopestyle World Cup competition in Aspen, Colorado. Megan Oldham from Parry Sound, Ontario, and Elena Gaskell from Vernon, British Columbia, secured the silver and bronze medals, respectively. The gold medal was claimed by Kirsty Muir from Great Britain.

Oldham clinched the silver medal with a score of 73.02 on her second run, while Gaskell secured the bronze with a final run score of 72.90. In the men’s category, American Mac Forehand emerged victorious with a score of 77.38, followed by Estonia’s Henry Sildaru with 75.90 in silver and Norway’s Ulrik Samnoey with 74.64 in bronze.

The highest-ranking Canadian male athlete was Max Moffatt, finishing in sixth place with a score of 72.71 on his second run.
