Business"Dollarama Recalls Garlic Powder Over Bacteria Concerns"

The recall of garlic powder sold at Dollarama has been issued, advising Canadians against consuming the affected product. The recall pertains to Heavenly Spices brand garlic powder available in a 70-gram package that was distributed nationwide. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced the recall initiated by the dollar store chain earlier this week.

According to the CFIA, consumers should refrain from using, selling, serving, or distributing the impacted garlic powder due to Bacillus cereus contamination. Bacillus cereus is a type of bacteria known to cause food poisoning, leading to symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
