In Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, a tragic incident resulted in the death of an elderly woman who was crushed by a Thar SUV outside her residence. The distressing event was captured on a surveillance camera.
The woman was assisting her grandson in parking the car on their property. Once the vehicle was parked, she proceeded to close the gate of the premises. The security footage indicates that the driver lost control of the car when the gates were closing, causing the vehicle to roll backwards due to the steep slope at the entrance of the parking area.
Despite her calls for help, the elderly woman was struck by the Thar and collided with a boundary wall on the opposite side of the road, resulting in fatal injuries. Family members rushed to the scene to rescue her, but she succumbed to her injuries on the spot.
Due to the personal connection to the victim, the family chose not to pursue legal action. The video of the tragic incident has since circulated widely on social media platforms.
