Infinix is introducing the Note series further in the Indian market. After the debut of the Note Edge earlier this year, the Note 60 Pro is the latest addition. Boasting a distinct design with a premium touch, the Infinix Note 60 Pro stands out with a unique feature – a new active matrix display on the rear side.
Despite the challenging landscape caused by soaring RAM prices in the smartphone sector, Infinix appears to be pushing boundaries with the Note 60 Pro. While a comprehensive review of the device will be presented by India Today Tech soon, here’s a sneak peek into its performance, design, and pricing.
The design of the Infinix Note 60 Pro catches attention at first sight, reminding users of other “Pro” smartphones. Featuring a sizable rectangular camera module and an aluminum frame, the device also incorporates an active matrix display within the camera setup, reminiscent of Nothing phones’ previous offerings.
According to Infinix, the active matrix display comprises 288 LED pixels and offers functionalities like syncing to music and providing notifications for calls and messages. The camera module is equipped with three square cutouts, one of which houses a square LED light ring.
With an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, the Infinix Note 60 Pro boasts a sleek profile, measuring 7.4mm in thickness and weighing slightly over 200 grams. The device includes a customizable one-tap button on the left side and a sensor beside the power button on the right side for heart rate or SpO2 level monitoring.
Moving on to the display and camera aspects, the Note 60 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display on the front with a high 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Additionally, the device features JBL-branded stereo speakers for enhanced audio experience.
In terms of optics, the Note 60 Pro houses a dual-rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. For selfies, a 13-megapixel front camera is available, capable of recording up to 4K videos at 30fps using the main sensor.
Performance-wise, the Note 60 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, coupled with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. To ensure sustained performance, the device integrates a 4758sqmm vapor cooling chamber. Infinix claims that the Note 60 Pro can achieve a score of 1 million points on AnTuTu benchmarks.
Equipped with a 6,500mAh battery, the device supports up to 90W wired and 30W wireless charging, along with 10W reverse charging (wired only). Running on Android 16-based XOS 16 out of the box, the Note 60 Pro promises 3 years of OS updates, 5 years of security patches, and AI features, including Infinix’s Folax assistant.
In India, the Infinix Note 60 Pro is priced at Rs 31,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the 8GB/256GB model costs Rs 34,999. The company offers bank discounts of up to Rs 3,000 and launch benefits such as a complimentary magnetic speaker and one-year screen replacement with the purchase of the Note 60 Pro.
