Poco C81 was unveiled today in India alongside the Poco X81x, expanding the company’s latest budget range. Both devices boast similar specifications and features, with the Poco C81 sporting a 6.9-inch screen and the Poco X81x featuring a 6.88-inch display. These smartphones will be up for sale on Flipkart starting April 27 in various color options.
In terms of specs, the Poco C81 features a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and a peak brightness of 800 nits. On the other hand, the Poco C81x is equipped with a slightly smaller 6.88-inch HD+ display offering a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 650 nits. Both models incorporate TV Rheinland Low Blue Light technology.
Powered by an octa-core Unisoc T7250 chipset and an ARM Mali-G57 GPU, both smartphones come with LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. The Poco C81 boasts a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, while the Poco C81x features a single 13-megapixel rear camera. They both feature an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls, supporting video recording up to 1080p at 30fps.
The Poco C81 houses a 6,300mAh battery, while the Poco C81x packs a 5,200mAh battery. Both support 15W wired charging and 7.5W wired reverse charging. Operating on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and Android 15 respectively, the Poco C81 promises four years of OS updates and six years of security updates, compared to two years of OS updates for the Poco C81x. Both smartphones come with side-mounted fingerprint sensors and an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance, with the Poco C81 weighing 208g and the Poco C81x weighing 193g.
The Poco C81 is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the Poco C81x is offered at Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage option. These smartphones will be available for purchase in India via Flipkart starting April 27 at 12 pm. The Poco C81 will come in Elite Black, Ice Blue, and Sunset Gold colors, while the Poco C81x will be offered in Elite Black, Ice Blue, and Sunset Gold, excluding the Sunset Gold option.
