Oppo is set to introduce the Oppo F33 series in India on April 15. This upcoming lineup will consist of two smartphones: the Oppo F33 Pro and the Oppo F33, emphasizing durability and ruggedness. Prior to the launch, Oppo has verified that these new devices will carry an IP69K certification, ensuring resistance to high-pressure and high-temperature water exposure. This military-grade durability is anticipated to provide protection against accidental drops and slips.
The IP69K certification is widely recognized for its water and dust resistance capabilities. With this certification, the Oppo F33 series is capable of enduring high-pressure water washing, even from pressurized water jets in multiple directions. These smartphones are likely to appeal to individuals working in outdoor settings like construction or farming.
In addition to the IP69K rating, the smartphones will feature an aerospace-grade AM04 aluminium alloy frame with AGC DT-STAR D+ screen protection. The frame incorporates an “airbag” cushioning system utilizing foam and silicone pads to absorb impact and safeguard essential components such as the camera, speakers, and battery.
Powering these smartphones will be a 7000mAh battery, supported by 80W SuperVOOC Flash charging. Oppo claims that the battery can maintain up to 80% of its capacity even after 1,830 full charge cycles, equivalent to approximately five years of daily usage.
Regarding the Oppo F33 series specifications and features, Oppo has previously revealed that the Oppo F33 Pro will boast a 50-megapixel primary camera with AI imaging features like AI Groupfie Expert and AI Portrait Glow. On the front, the smartphone will sport a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.
The Oppo F33 Pro is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max SoC and carry a price tag of around Rs 35,000. Similar to past Oppo F-series models, the F33 lineup is likely to be predominantly available through offline channels. Color options for the Oppo F33 Pro are anticipated to include Misty Forest, Starry Blue, and Passion Red.
