Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress and the Left during a rally in Kerala’s Tiruvalla, accusing them of being proficient at spreading falsehoods. He emphasized that despite labeling narratives like Kerala Story and Dhurandhar as lies, it is actually the Congress and Left parties who excel in deceit.
Modi intensified his attack, branding the Opposition as a “factory of lies,” alleging that they have been fearmongering about recent changes to the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) and the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). He pointed out that the Congress and Left’s misinformation campaign extends to issues like the CAA and UCC, with Goa having implemented the UCC for years.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister raised concerns about the Congress jeopardizing the safety of around one crore Indian migrants in Iran and Gulf countries by making inflammatory statements. He accused the Congress of politicizing the Gulf war and potentially damaging India’s relations with the Middle East.
Modi highlighted the Congress’s alleged attempts to portray India negatively in West Asia, suggesting that their actions could endanger Indians residing in Gulf nations. He stressed the importance of prioritizing the security of Keralites in foreign countries amid the ongoing conflicts.
In a related development, Modi addressed the ongoing blame game between the LDF and UDF, describing them as two sides of the same coin. He accused both alliances of colluding against the BJP and engaging in staged confrontations akin to scripted wrestling matches. Modi also promised accountability for alleged wrongdoings related to the Sabarimala temple once the NDA assumes power in Kerala.
