Wild People Quiet is set in 1940s Saskatchewan, where a Métis woman named Florence conceals her heritage in a white-dominated town. When she encounters Métis farm workers, Florence is compelled to confront her past and make decisions about her future.

Tara Gereaux, a member of the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan residing in Regina, is the author of Saltus and Size of a Fist, both shortlisted for Saskatchewan Book Awards.
